HAYDOM, TANZANIA

8 hour drive in the Land Rover to Haydom. Don't have time to update everything it's been going from 6 am til about 8 every day. Shot a few surgeries so far but here's a shot i liked so i figured i put this up until we stop for more than a few seconds.
At the Haydom Hospital there is a building where the family of the patients cook food for their relatives that are in the Hospital. About two dozen fires burn with a pot of rice or beans sitting in them. I shot this boy standing in front of his families fire before the afternoon meal. Notice the flame in the right side of the shots and the two people in the background tending to the fire. Also notice the soot stained walls. No photos could ever describe this place.

till next time

Your photos transport the viewer to where ever you are. Nice to tap into what you are up to and escape the drum beats of the day.
