The path to Africa

Since my first travels I always adapted flawlessly to my surroundings. You probably can't find me in this shot, look closer. I'm next to the fish table and blood bucket. Believe it or not that's a young me. Being from the multi-cultural city of Miami I learned how to fit into any situation, fake it. Years of useless spanish class, when would that come in handy. Always point to the item you want on a foreign language menu, usually one at the top or anything named after the place your eating.

These lessons growing up and my previous travels around the globe have prepared me for my latest quest. Doing a photo/video documentary of brain surgery in the African bush. I begin my journey March 19.
