Tanzania, May 2, 2010, Entry 13

Haydom: We visited an outreach clinic for women and children about an hour from Hydom.
The Haydom Hospital does 26 outreach and 2 in hospital clinics for women and children a month. Not sure where this one was, it wasn't in a village. I was in a vacant church about an hour outside Haydom. The mothers bring their children or come for pre natal exams. They bring their records, usually wrapped in a plastic to protect them and show up every month. The hospital keeps incredibly accurate records as well. All of it goes back to the hospital and is enter into the data books. Impressive work.
